Job summary

Gemma Services is seeking a part-time Behavior Health Technician to support its Intensive Behavioral Health Services program in Northeast Philadelphia. The role involves working with children and adolescents one-on-one in school settings, implementing behavioral health interventions and documenting progress.

The position requires at least a high school diploma and RBT training, plus 2 years of behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma and have completed the RBT task list training.
• Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the provision of behavioral health and completed the RBT task list training.

Responsibilities

• Work with children/adolescents one-on-one in the school setting implementing behavioral health interventions as documented in the treatment plan.
• Train the school staff to implement the interventions described in the treatment plan.
• Collaborate with the child’s family as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members such as Behavior Consultants and Mobile Therapists.
• Receive regular supervision to increase knowledge and competency in delivering interventions.
• Collect data on identified behaviors to support progress with treatment.
• Document services provided in the agency EMR.
