**Please note: In fall 2026, the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute is relocating inpatient services in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill. Staff will begin transitioning to the new space in spring 2026. Our team is working closely with the Holy Spirit Medical Center Behavioral Health team and the Penn State Health Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health to ensure a smooth and coordinated transition .

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Demonstrates competency with interventions and clinical judgment based on unit population and age specific needs. Delivery of a variety of mental health treatment modalities, including psycho-educational groups, milieu management, and behavior modification strategies. Provides assistance to the primary nurse in management of patient needs and support services for effective completion of daily routine.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period
  • PA Act 31 Child Abuse Training Certificate.
