Job summary

CALO Programs is hiring Behavioral Health Associates (DSPs, Youth Care Workers) to support youth overcoming trauma in a year‑round residential program located in Lake Ozark, MO. This is a full‑time, on‑site role with 4‑day work weeks and weekend availability required.

Shifts are Day (6AM–4PM) and Mid (1PM–10PM). The role emphasizes compassionate mentorship, safety, and collaboration with clinical teams to help teens build resilience and coping skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Age 21+ required.
• Ability to pass background checks and physical.
• Experience in residential care or with at‑risk youth preferred (but not required).

Responsibilities

• Support youth with daily routines, hygiene, chores, and personal development.
• Engage in group therapy and team‑building activities.
• Ensure a safe, structured, and emotionally supportive environment.
• Participate in on‑ and off‑campus activities that promote healing and personal growth.
• Implement treatment strategies alongside clinical teams.
• Maintain professional boundaries while offering mentorship.
