Job summary

Positive Behavior Supports Corp. (PBS) in Torrance, CA, is hiring Entry Level Behavior Assistants and experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for part‑time roles with potential to grow into full‑time as caseloads expand.

Work 1:1 with children with autism using ABA strategies under BCBA supervision, and participate in PBS training to become an RBT while pursuing a BCBA path. Roles include data collection, family collaboration, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field is a plus.
• Experience in ABA therapy, childcare, education, or related field is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally if required.
• Ability to actively engage clients during sessions and assist with mobility (up to 50 lbs).
• Active engagement with clients, ability to sit/stand and assist as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children with autism using ABA strategies under supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed and trained by a BCBA.
• Collect and record data to track client progress using PBS tracking tools.
• Communicate with families and clinical teams to ensure client success.
• Attend scheduled supervisions, team meetings, and ongoing training.
