Job summary

Positive Behavior Supports Corp. (PBS) is hiring Entry Level Behavior Assistants and RBTs for part-time roles in Metairie, LA. Positions offer growth to full-time as caseloads expand, with local travel as needed and comprehensive training to become an RBT.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or related field a plus.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally if required.
• Ability to engage clients during sessions and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in ABA therapy, childcare, or education is a plus.
• Active engagement with clients, sitting to standing without assistance, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children with autism using ABA strategies under supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed and trained by a BCBA.
• Collect and record data to track client progress using PBS tools.
• Communicate with families and clinical teams to ensure client success.
• Attend scheduled supervisions, team meetings and ongoing training.
