Job summary

Responsibilities of Behavior Analyst Trainee (BAT):

This role requires physical engagement with clients, including kneeling, squatting, standing, and sitting on the floor for extended periods. Rapid movement may be required to ensure client safety.

Qualifications:

• ACTIVELY ENROLLED IN A MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAM IN APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS OR A RELATED FIELD ON AN APPROVED BCBA COURSE SEQUENCE (required for BAT 1; BAT 2 and BAT 3 must maintain active enrollment through the program, or have recently graduated and be preparing to sit for the BCBA exam)
• Must have a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or be willing to complete our 40‑hour training, comps, and the RBT exam
• Bachelor’s degree completed (a relevant degree and coursework is preferred)
• Desire to work with children; experience with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Commitment to maintain RBT certification and to accrue supervised fieldwork hours toward BCBA certification
• Availability to work 40 hours weekly, including some flexibility regarding schedule changes required to accommodate patient needs
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Must acquire certifications in CPR / First Aid
