Job description

Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst

F4 positions at VISTA Education Center (Federal Setting IV) for the 2026‑2027 school year. Teacher duty day begins August 24, with new teacher workshop the week of August 17.

Job Summary

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for conducting comprehensive behavioral assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and implementing evidence‑based interventions to address the needs of individuals with behavioral and developmental challenges. The BCBA collaborates with students, caregivers, and other professionals to create and implement effective behavior management strategies that promote positive behavior change and skill acquisition.

BA, Step 1 at $51,599/yr to PhD, Step 17 at $111,313/yr; placement will vary depending on education and experience.

Working Conditions

Physical demands include regular talking, hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and using hands. Must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 40 pounds or more. Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus.
