Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Tempe, AZ, seeks a Lead Case Supervisor to guide practicum hours and prepare candidates to become BCBAs. This full‑time hourly role includes supervision of RBTs, participation in ESDM training, and regular team collaboration with the Local Clinical Trainer (BCBA).

The position offers a signing bonus and career pathway to BCBA. You will oversee client cases, update goals, conduct assessments, and write BIPs, with opportunities for growth and increased hours as testing

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s program for ABA
  • Within ~400‑600 hours (or less) of completing all practicum hours, eligible to sit for the BCBA Exam
  • Excellent skills in building rapport and trust with families as a behavior therapist
  • Emerging skills in case conceptualization and client programming and planning
  • Emerging skills in coaching and supervising RBTs to implement ESDM therapy
  • Desire to learn, grow, and accept feedback

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a case supervisor for 3-5 client cases (20 paid unrestricted hours/week), based on center needs and program progress
  • Update client goals and programming using our electronic data collection platform
  • Provide direct supervision to a team of RBTs
  • Participate in ESDM‑specific training to grow clinical skills
  • Write Behavior Intervention Plans using the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill‑Based Treatment (SBT)
  • Provide training and coaching
  • Meet with families to conduct Family Treatment Guidance meetings and support, using Soar’s in‑house curriculum
  • Conduct and write assessment reports for new clients and re‑assessments for established clients, including training on the Vineland, QABF, FAST, and the ESDM Curriculum Checklist
  • Receive coaching and feedback from Partner Clinician and other BCBAs
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings with Speech‑Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists as part of the integrated care team
  • Conduct direct client therapy (10‑20 hours/week), based on center needs and program progress

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals in their coursework to become a BCBA and accrue practicum hours. The Lead Case Supervisor role prepares candidates to be successful BCBAs. It reports to the Local Clinical Trainer (BCBA) at the specific clinic.

Highlights of the Lead Case Supervisor Role
  • Base pay: $25.50 - $32.50/hour, with $2,000 signing bonus upon offer
  • Bonuses: $2,000 signing bonus, plus an additional $5,000 after passing the BCBA exam
  • Serve as a case supervisor for 3-5 client cases (20 paid unrestricted hours/week); this is a full‑time hourly position
  • Optionally higher caseload and paid hours as you get closer to testing, depending on local center growth and availability
  • One additional week of PTO to prepare and study for the exam
  • High‑quality study materials provided once within 6-9 months of testing
  • Guaranteed BCBA role at Soar after passing the BCBA exam and meeting program expectations (location depends on local staffing needs)
