Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a Lead Case Supervisor who is actively pursuing BCBA credentials and accruing practicum hours. This role offers paid unrestricted hours, a pathway to a BCBA position, and dedicated supervision from a BCBA.

You will supervise RBTs, work with families, and participate in ESDM training to strengthen your clinical skills. The position is full-time and hourly, with a signing bonus and opportunity to advance as the center grows.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s program for ABA.
  • Be within ~400-600 hours of completing all practicum hours to be eligible to sit for the BCBA Exam.
  • Demonstrate excellent skills in building rapport with families as a behavior therapist.
  • Demonstrate emerging skills in case conceptualization and client programming.
  • Demonstrate emerging skills in coaching and supervising RBTs to implement ESDM therapy.
  • Desire to learn, grow, and accept feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a case supervisor for 3-5 client cases (20 paid unrestricted hours/week), set based on center needs.
  • Update client goals and programming using our electronic data collection platform.
  • Provide direct supervision to a team of RBTs.
  • Participate in ESDM trainings to grow clinical skillset.
  • Write Behavior Intervention Plans using PFA and SBT.
  • Receive training and coaching; meet with families for Family Treatment Guidance meetings.
  • Conduct and write assessment reports for new clients and re-assessments including Vineland, QABF, FAST, and ESDM Curriculum Checklist.
  • Be part of the Soar integrated care team in interdisciplinary meetings with SLPs, OTs, and Psychologists.
  • Conduct direct client therapy (10-20 hours/week) as center needs.

Job description

This exciting opportunity is a role designed for individuals who are actively in their coursework to become a BCBA and are accruing practicum hours. Struggling to get opportunities to count toward your unrestricted hours? Do you want to get paid for your unrestricted hours? Then this role is for you! The Lead Case Supervisor role is intended to prepare an individual to be a successful BCBA upon completing their hours and passing their exam. The role will report to the Local Clinical Trainer (BCBA) at the team member’s specific clinic.

Highlights Of The Lead Case Supervisor Role
  • Base pay: $25.50 - $32.50/hour, with $2,000 signing bonus upon offer!
  • Bonuses: $2,000 signing bonus, plus an additional $5,000 once you pass your BCBA exam
  • Serve as a case supervisor for 3-5 client cases (20 paid unrestricted hours/week), learning and practicing the key skills to become a high-quality BCBA. This is a full-time, hourly position.
    • The caseload and paid unrestricted hours may be higher, as you get closer to testing. This will also depend on the local centers growth and availability
  • 1 additional week of PTO to prepare and study for your exam
  • High-quality study materials also provided once you’re within 6-9 months of testing
  • Guaranteed BCBA role at Soar following the passing of the BCBA exam and meeting program expectations (location will depend on local staffing needs).

Job Responsibilities

  • Update client goals and programming, utilizing our electronic data collection platform
  • Provide direct supervision to a team of RBTs
  • Participate in ESDM specific trainings, growing your clinical skillset
  • Write Behavior Intervention Plans, utilizing the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill Based Treatment (SBT)
  • Training and coaching to be provided
  • Meet with families to conduct Family Treatment Guidance meetings and support, utilizing Soar’s in-house curriculum
  • Conduct and write assessment reports for new clients and re-assessments for established clients, including training on the Vineland, QABF, FAST, and the ESDM Curriculum Checklist
  • Receive coaching and feedback from Partner Clinician and other BCBAs in your clinic
  • Be a part of the Soar integrated care team, participating in interdisciplinary meetings for collaboration with Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists
  • Conduct direct client therapy (10-20 hours/week), set based on center needs and program progress
