Nyman Associates is seeking Per Diem BCBAs or LBSs to perform school-based Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) in the Philadelphia area. Responsibilities include data collection, analysis, and providing evidence-based recommendations to support student success.

These roles offer flexible, as-needed assignments with supportive Clinical Leads and access to assessment tools in a school-based setting throughout Philadelphia, PA.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification or PA Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) license is required.
• Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Strong assessment, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs including observations, interviews, data collection and analysis.
• Prepare comprehensive FBA reports with findings and recommendations.
• Develop or recommend individualized BIPs as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to understand student needs and recommend behavioral strategies.
• Provide behavioral consultation and guidance to school teams.
• Complete assessment reports and documentation within timelines.
• Participate in meetings to review findings and recommendations.

We're seeking compassionate, organized, and self-directed Per Diem BCBAs or LBSs to provide school-based behavioral assessment and consultation services in the Philadelphia area, primarily completing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).

Position Summary:

As a Per Diem BCBA or LBS with Nyman Associates, you will primarily conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for students in school-based settings throughout the Philadelphia area. You will collaborate with school teams to assess behavioral needs, analyze data, and develop practical, evidence-based recommendations that promote positive student outcomes.

This is a flexible, as-needed position that allows you to accept assignments based on your availability. The number and frequency of cases may vary depending on school needs and your schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), including observations, interviews, data collection, and analysis.


• Prepare comprehensive FBA reports with findings and recommendations.


• Develop or recommend individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), as needed.


• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and other educational professionals to understand student needs and recommend appropriate behavioral strategies.


• Provide behavioral consultation and guidance to school teams, as needed.


• Complete assessment reports and required documentation within established timelines.


• Participate in meetings to review assessment findings and recommendations, when applicable.

Qualifications:

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification OR Pennsylvania Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) license required.


• Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Intervention Plans.


• Strong assessment, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage assigned cases and deadlines.


• Previous experience in school-based or educational settings preferred.
