Job summary

The Arc of Bristol County is seeking a part-time Behavior Analyst (BCBA/LABA) in Taunton, MA. You will manage clinical services for the day habilitation program, develop and monitor behavior plans, and ensure DDS-compliant treatment implementations.

Qualifications include MA licensure and an advanced degree, knowledge of Positive Behavior Supports, and experience with behavior programs. Travel to rural areas is required; 20 hours per week with benefits eligibility based on hours.

Qualifications

  • Licensed through the Massachusetts Allied Health and Human Services or another state licensing board; advanced degree required.
  • Knowledge of Positive Behavior Supports.
  • Experience developing positive behavior support plans.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, parents/caregivers, and professionals.
  • Competence in analyzing assessment results, designing treatment plans and behavioral programs, and monitoring progress.
  • Must be able to work effectively as a team member and travel independently in rural locations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day aspects of The Arc’s clinical services for the day habilitation program.
  • Use assessment instruments and data to develop and implement teaching programs and behavior plans.
  • Ensure implementation of treatment plans, document contacts and observations; use judgment to improve programs.
  • Establish and maintain data measurement and analysis systems for individuals receiving behavioral interventions.
  • Maintain documentation and prepare reports; ensure compliance with DDS regulations and professional standards.
  • Provide staff development and training for direct service providers in strategies and Positive Behavior Supports.

General Qualifications

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day aspects of The Arc’s clinical services for the day habilitation program.
  • Use appropriate assessment instruments and data to develop and implement teaching programs and behavior plans.
  • Ensure the implementation of treatment plans, document contacts and observations; use professional knowledge and independent judgment to strategize continuous improvements.
  • Establish and maintain data measurement, collection, and analysis systems for individuals receiving behavioral interventions.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and prepare and complete reports as required.
  • Ensure that all treatment plans and programs comply with DDS regulations and meet or exceed professional standards.
  • Provide staff development, training, and modeling for direct service providers in strategies and methodologies for working with individuals with ASD and other clinical diagnoses, including Positive Behavior Supports.
  • Participate in DHSP meetings for individuals as appropriate.
  • Promote positive public relations, facilitate interagency collaboration, and advocate for the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive services.
  • Participate in professional growth activities such as conferences, classes, team meetings and program visitations.
  • Accept all other responsibilities as assigned.
