Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience working with emotionally disturbed adolescents/children preferred.
• Ability to pass Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and/or Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training within three months.
• Ability to pass First Aid and CPR certification within three months.
• A valid California driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the company’s insurer.
• Background checks and clearances (DOJ, Child Abuse, licensing) required.

Responsabilités

• Monitor students in classroom; proactively intervene and assist with transitions.
• Collaborate with teachers and behavior team on intervention plans and behavior management.
• Document student behaviors and track target behaviors.
• Support students during non-school hours and school closures as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and report issues promptly to supervisor.
