Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience working with students with special needs, particularly those with Autism and/or Emotional Disturbance, in a clinical or educational setting. Knowledge ofand experience implementingbehavioral approaches for teaching new skills and managing student behavior is required. Knowledge of applied behavior techniques is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or relative field strongly preferred. Under certain circumstances, relevant experience and credentials may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Applicants must provide Act 34 and 151 clearances and FBI registration number (all less than one year old).
Salary is $42,895. Salary and benefits set by LMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
