Beginning Music Teacher (Any Instrument or Voice)

Join The California Flow Music Studio as a Beginning Music Teacher, providing private instruction in your specialty to students of all ages. We welcome educators and musical leaders of any instrument or voice who are eager to mentor beginners, including general music lessons for children aged 3-8. We value passionate individuals dedicated to helping students achieve their personal musical goals.

Pay Range

This range is provided by The California Flow Music Studio. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Please discuss with your recruiter for more details.

Base pay range: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Some teaching experience or musical leadership in any instrument or voice discipline (or equivalent training/education)
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus
• Experience working with children in educational or tutoring settings is highly desirable
• Basic understanding of music theory

Responsibilities

• Teach private vocal or instrument lessons, typically 30 or 60 minutes, based on your schedule
• Work up to 30 hours per week or as few as 5 hours, depending on your availability
• Communicate with parents regarding schedule changes
• Develop lesson plans for each session
• Participate in quarterly training sessions with the Director for professional growth
