Job summary

Servco Toyota Windward is seeking a Beginner Technician to diagnose, service, and repair Servco vehicles in Hawaii. You will document repair notes, inspect for issues, and communicate concerns to the Service Consultant.

The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and meeting production standards. You must have an Associate of Science in Auto Technology or equivalent, a valid license, and the ability to obtain ASE certification within 18 months.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science Degree in Auto Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and strong driving record.
• Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes.
• Must own a basic set of automotive repair tools.
• Must secure at least one ASE certification within 18 months of being hired.
• Work a 4/10 schedule: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat 7:15am–6:00pm; 4 days per week.

At Servco Toyota Windward, we provide top notch service to our customers. Our Beginner Technicians will service and repair Hawaii’s top selling vehicles, including performing a variety of bumper to bumper service/repair jobs and receive factory training.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately diagnose, service, and repair Servco vehicles
• Document notes and recommendations on the repair order
• Inspect vehicles and advise Service Consultant of any areas of concern so customers are informed
• Ensure work is completed accurately and done safely
• Maintain and exceed minimum shop production standards
• Attend all required factory training and obtain all required certifications

Requirements:

• Associate of Science Degree in Auto Technology or equivalent work experience
• Valid driver’s license and strong driving record
• Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes
• Must own a basic set of automotive repair tools
• Strong attention to detailMust be able to secure at least one ASE certification within 18 months of being hired
• Must be able to work a 4/10 (4 days per week, 10 hours per day) work schedule; Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday from 7:15am - 6:00pm
• Toyota repair experience and Dealertrack experience preferred

Our Technicians are paid a competitive hourly wage and production incentive. They are also compensated for their ASE certifications and receive factory training in our climate controlled Hawaii training facility.
