Before and After School Care Teacher

Job Summary:

Provide childcare to students before school starts at 7:00am-9:00am M-F that school is in session.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Follows and maintains knowledge of all childcare centers policies and procedures.
2. Monitors students while in Before or After Care and assists with activities and/or homework.
3. Prepare snacks that adhere to state guidelines.
4. Follows prescribed daily schedule as outlined.
5. Maintains safe environment at all times.
6. Reports safety, sanitary and fire hazards immediately to the appropriate department.
7. Attends work regularly and is punctual.
8. Plan activities and lessons.

Qualifications:

1. Central Background Registry
2. 18 years of age.
3. One of the following:

• Credits or training at a college or university

A minimum of one year experience working with children.

Complete CPR and First Aid certificate within 90 days of employment.

Location: Placement sites are: Riddle Elementary, Lyons Elementary, Gardner Elementary, Post Oak Elementary, and Forest View.

Salary Range: $15-17.00/hr

Shift Type: Before Care 7:00am-9:00am & After Care 3:00pm-6:00pm. Extra hours are available at the Main childcare center in Holt.
