Job summary

Newark Day Nursery & Children's Center is seeking caring, energetic, and dependable Before & After School Teachers to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Shifts run 7:00-8:15am and 2:30-5:30pm with additional hours during breaks; you will lead fun activities, supervise students aged 5-14, and provide a safe, engaging environment while communicating with families.

Newark Day Nursery & Children’s Center is looking for caring, energetic, and dependable Before & After School Teachers to join our team! If you love working with school-age children and enjoy creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment, we’d love to meet you.

This position is for the 2026-2027 school year with an end of August start date.

Before School Shift: 7:00-8:15am

After School Shift: 2:30-5:30pm

Additional Hours are available during school breaks and half days.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome children each morning and help them start their day positively.

• Supervise and engage the children before and after school.

• Lead fun activities, games, arts & crafts, homework support, and outdoor play.

• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
