The Learning Experience #369 in Katy, TX is seeking an energetic and caring Before and After School Program Teacher Driver to join our team. This dual role combines safe transportation with engaging, supervised programming for school-age children.

You will drive safely to and from school, supervise activities, provide homework help, and communicate with parents and staff. We offer ongoing training, a supportive team, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred (or willing to obtain).
• Experience with school-age children in childcare/education setting.
• CDL or school bus endorsement is a plus.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and program facilities.
• Supervise and engage children during before/after school hours.
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities and enrichment programs.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment.
• Communicate with parents, guardians, and school staff about progress and updates.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and keep vehicle clean and well-maintained.
• Follow childcare licensing regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from school and program facilities in accordance with all traffic and safety regulations
• Supervise and engage children during before and after school program hours
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, homework help, and enrichment programs
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress and daily updates
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the transport vehicle is clean and well-maintained
• Follow all childcare licensing regulations, safety protocols, and company policies

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL or school bus endorsement a plus
• Previous experience working with school-age children in a childcare or educational setting
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and classroom management skillsAbility to pass a background check and meet all state childcare licensing requirements
• Reliable, punctual, and highly responsible with a passion for child development
• High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education coursework preferred
