Before and After School Program Group Teacher Substitute

Join to apply for the Before and After School Program Group Teacher Substitute role at Healthy Kids Programs.

We are currently hiring Group Teacher Substitutes for our Before/After Care Program at Gertrude C. Folwell in Mount Holly, NJ. We're looking for someone who loves working with children and is passionate about creating an environment where kids can thrive.

Job Details:

  • Job Status: Per Diem, Non-Exempt
  • Pay Rate: $15.49 - $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities include:

  • Guiding compliance with NJ guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school rules.
  • Engaging children with hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Way Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, arts, and homework help.
  • Creating a safe, healthy, and fun environment as a role model.
  • Assisting the Site Director with management tasks like attendance, registration, and staffing when needed.
  • Communicating with parents via the Playground App.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure quality care and a positive environment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Child Development or Child Development Certificate, or six college credits in Early Childhood Education plus nine in related fields.
  • Medically fit, free of communicable diseases, with good people skills, professionalism, and reliability.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and keep up with energetic children.
