Job summary

The YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester in Mahopac, NY is seeking an enthusiastic Before & After School Counselor to support children in a safe, engaging program after school. You will help create a welcoming environment, build positive relationships, and guide age-appropriate activities.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety under NYS OCFS standards, leading creative activities, fostering inclusion, and serving as a reliable role model.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently working toward one).
• Experience working with children under 13 preferred.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and enthusiasm.
