You'll provide leadership for program operations, staff supervision, curriculum implementation, enrollment, family engagement, licensing compliance, fiscal stewardship, and continuous quality improvement while partnering closely with school leaders and families. If you're passionate about developing educators, leading high-performing teams, and creating exceptional experiences for children and families, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact every day. This is a full-time, year-round position leading a licensed School-Age child care program.

  • Build strong relationships with families, school administrators, community partners, and licensing representatives to strengthen the program and ensure operational excellence.
  • Oversee program enrollment, curriculum implementation, licensing compliance, fiscal stewardship, risk management, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, safety, and belonging that reflects the YMCA's commitment to strengthening children, families, and communities.

  • Two days per week: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (days may vary based on program needs)

During school intersessions and summer, Site Directors typically work Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Paid training, professional development, and occasional evening or weekend meetings, family events, and special events are required throughout the year.

This role is ideal for an experienced youth development or licensed child care professional who enjoys leading people, building strong partnerships, and creating exceptional learning environments for children. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who can balance operational excellence with compassionate leadership while coaching Team Members, supporting families, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring every child experiences a safe, engaging, and welcoming program. If you're ready to lead a licensed child care program that makes a meaningful difference in your community, you'll thrive in this role.
