Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a Childcare Program Director for our Before and After School Pre-K Programs at Elsinboro Township School for the 2026–2027 school year. The role follows the school calendar and offers a part-time, non-exempt schedule with morning and/or afternoon shifts.

Employer-paid childcare for children ages 3–12 enrolled in the program is a featured benefit. The role emphasizes safety, engagement, staffing, compliance, and a positive, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting
• 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience
• Familiarity with before- and after-school program environments a plus
• Knowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not required
• Calm, flexible, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to pass required background and fingerprint clearances.

Responsibilities

• Program quality: Kids are engaged, safe, and having fun every day; the program reflects Healthy Kids Programs’ model and families consistently re-enroll.
• Staffing: The site is fully staffed every day; teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids.
• Compliance: The site operates in ratio at all times; records are accurate and current; the program is ready for inspection on any given day.
