Job summary

The Community House in Hinsdale, IL is seeking a Before & After School Mentor to lead planning and execution of activities for the Before and After the Bell program, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment and supervising program counselors. You will collaborate with the Recreation Supervisor to craft enriching experiences for children.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading and supervising educational or recreational programs for children
• Ability to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for participants
• Proven track record of effectively communicating with children, parents, and staff
• Strong organizational skills to manage day-to-day program activities and staff meetings
• Ability to identify and address safety concerns promptly and effectively
• Experience in administering medication and completing necessary documentation accurately
• Ability to foster a positive working relationship with school staff and program counselors

Compensation:

$16.50 - $17.75 hourly

Responsibilities:

Site Mentors will:
