AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is hiring for our Before & After School Programs at Valley Road School in New Jersey.

The Group Leader will support students in morning and afternoon sessions, guiding activities across world languages, STEAM, fitness, maker, and arts, while ensuring safety and a positive learning environment. Ideal candidates are students studying Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, or Recreation/Youth Development, with a High School diploma and CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.
