Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. in Tewksbury, MA, is seeking a Part-time Group Leader for before and after school programs at Tewksbury Elementary School. You will guide students through engaging activities, with training and support.

Hours are 6:45-8:30am and 3:00-6:00pm, Monday through Friday, no weekends. Pay is $18.00/hour plus part-time benefits and referral bonuses; experience with youth care and state licensing requirements are needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency.
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations (see below).

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of student explorers through activities across fitness, arts, technology, and more.
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment fostering positive staff, child, and parent relationships.
