Job summary

AlphaBEST Education is seeking a Group Leader for its Before & After School Programs in Highland Park, IL. This part-time role covers morning and after-school shifts with no weekends, starting at $18 per hour.

You will guide small groups through world languages, STEAM, fitness, Maker, and arts while prioritizing child safety and inclusive environments. Requirements include a HS diploma and state licensing clearance; CPR/First Aid is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 19 years old and have full state clearance.
• Registered with state childcare licensing agency.
• Experience in teaching or youth programs preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities.
• Maintain safety as the top priority in all activities.
• Build relationships with families, teammates, and school staff.
• Keep classroom space clean and organized.
• Support classroom leadership and supervision.
