Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Programs for the 2026–2027 school year at J.V. Forrestal Elementary School in Beacon, Sargent Elementary School in Beacon, and Glenham Elementary School in Fishkill, NY. The pay rate is $16.00–$17.00 per hour, with programs following the school calendar (morning 7:00–8:30, afternoon 3:10–6:00).

Position is part‑time and non‑exempt. Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, or at least 1 year of experience with children under 13.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
