Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for the Cape May City Elementary School before and after school program for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is part-time (non-exempt) and offers employer-paid childcare for participating children and a structured, engaging environment.

Typical shifts follow the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon options, and opportunities may exist for both sessions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required.
• Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks.
• Must be able to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines and program/host school policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
