As a Before & After Care Worker, you will assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment in various school settings by supervising students during authorized programs, in accordance with CSUSA policies and school procedures.

How You Will Impact Education

Instruction/Education Responsibilities

• Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service as a program assistant.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents effectively, being firm yet friendly, courteous, and professional.
• Follow proper student sign-in and dismissal procedures for both Before and After Care.
• Monitor students and observe who enters and leaves the childcare areas.
• Distribute snacks, play with students on the playground, and assist with homework and tutoring.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents as needed.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a daycare assistant or summer camp counselor is preferred.
• Enjoy working with children.

• Ability to perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Usual school conditions, with possible noise during high student traffic.

Physical Demands

• No physical exertion required.
