Job summary

KWS SAAT SE in Moorhead, MN seeks a Business Development Support Technician to provide technical support for beet quality analysis. Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; willing to learn and adapt.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in project planning and execution.
• CAD experience and ability to use new systems quickly.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate automated equipment and hand tools.
• Welding, fabrication and assembly skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
• Able to work in office, outdoors, and factory environments.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Work with current and new systems to sample and measure sugarbeet quality.
• Contribute to marketing and sales activities for beet technology.
• Install NIRS systems at customer sites and verify performance.
• Train customers on operating procedures of NIRS systems.
• Collect, process and evaluate samples for projects.
• Validate data and analyze existing NIRS units.
• Assist in calibration development and testing using machine vision and NIRS.
• Organize, catalog and ship materials.
• Control project schedules to meet time and cost estimates.
• Maintain, repair and test equipment.
• Develop prototypes and implement new technology with stakeholders.
• Provide technical support for other Sugarbeet projects.
• Support current and new customers; perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE; travel as needed.
• Meet attendance requirements.
