Job summary

Beewise is transforming beekeeping with our BeeHome robotic hives and Beehomes Buildings program, installing hives at commercial and residential sites to bring pollination and nature back into urban spaces.

We are seeking experienced freelance beekeepers to maintain these hives, lead educational experiences for clients, and act as trusted beekeeping advisors on hive health while representing Beewise with professionalism and passion.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years hands-on beekeeping experience.
• Skilled in honey extraction and hive health management.
• Ability to lead engaging, interactive workshops for all ages.
• Comfortable with on-call hive visits and flexible scheduling.
• Willing to work with AI-powered robotic hives (training provided).
• Clear, friendly, and professional with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client hives with inspections and routine maintenance at client sites.
• Lead educational experiences such as hive dives, honey tastings, and pollinator education events.
• Act as a trusted beekeeping advisor, communicating field updates back to Beewise.
