PepperJacks Subs is seeking an outgoing Beertender to greet guests, pour beverages, and create a welcoming atmosphere in a fast-paced setting. You will learn our beer offerings, answer questions, and ensure responsible service while collaborating with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

The ideal candidate is friendly, punctual, and able to multitask while maintaining attentiveness to guests, with Maryland Alcohol Awareness Certification preferred or obtainable through the employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Maryland Alcohol Awareness Certification required or to be obtained.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Friendly, outgoing, and a great conversationalist.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to help coworkers.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to multitask while remaining attentive to guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Serve beer, wine, cocktails, and other beverages responsibly.
• Learn our beer offerings and confidently answer guest questions.
• Check identification and follow all Maryland alcohol service requirements.
• Accurately enter orders and process payments.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar.
• Monitor guests and practice responsible alcohol service.
• Communicate and work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Assist with cleaning, stocking, and other duties as needed.
• Help create a fun, positive, and welcoming environment for both guests and coworkers.
