Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the following duties, among others:

• Greeting customers, discussing their needs, making suggestions, handling requests, and resolving concerns professionally.
• Operating scanning equipment and cash register, performing checkout procedures, and bagging merchandise efficiently.
• Ensuring transaction accuracy, proper security, and cash handling procedures.
• Following all legal guidelines regarding alcohol sales and other products.
• Assisting with receiving and storing deliveries; training provided if needed.
• Stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, and managing product freshness and signage.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the department.
• Inspecting deliveries, minimizing losses, and reporting shortages.
• Cooperating with team members to ensure smooth department and store operations.
• Utilizing all provided PPE appropriately.
• Assisting in other departments as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualification Requirements
