Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED
  • 21 years of age and possess a bartending license
  • Proven knowledge of contemporary dining, wines, and beverages
  • Previous experience in a high-volume establishment
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing demeanor; team player
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant working and shopping environment.
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service by demonstrating sincerity, patience, and respect in all customer interactions and by thanking customers for their business.
  • Greet customers genuinely and assist them by escorting to products, loading/unloading heavy items, and helping retrieve out-of-reach items.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and respond promptly to questions and requests.
  • Understand the drink menu and wine list, including ingredients and preparation of cocktails and dishes.
  • Maintain proper levels of perishables and cut/store them daily to ensure quality.
  • Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes, practicing portion control.
  • Operate equipment per company guidelines.
  • Input orders into the POS system; create checks for all beverages served to maintain accountability.
  • Handle customer payments accurately, verify charges, and balance cash and transactions.
  • Adhere to all liquor regulations, including serving to minors and intoxicated customers; comply with safety and food regulations; report issues and illegal activities.
  • Address customer complaints regarding service, products, and personnel.
  • Drive sales through suggestive selling, sampling, and promoting sales events.
  • Maintain availability for evenings and weekends.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards; clean as you go, including washing, sweeping, and mopping.
  • Assist team members as needed.
  • Physical demands include standing, reaching, bending, lifting (40-80 lbs.), and pushing/pulling heavy objects.
