Qualifications

• Working understanding of beer and wine.
• Familiarity with ALE laws governing sale and purchasing of beer and wine products.
• Sales minded with effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Self-motivated, trustworthy and able to adhere to guidelines.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Educate guests on product attributes and provide guidance for specific needs and preferences.
• Ensure marketing and brand materials and tools are displayed and maintained.
• Maintain sanitation and appearance of the Beer Den/Sunmill Wines.
• Work with managers and suppliers to ensure proper pricing and product selection.
• Train other Beer Den/Wine clerks and ensure information is available for hosts.
• Conduct tastings in-store and for promotions.
• Follow state laws governing sampling, sale and purchasing of beer and wine.
• Wash and prepare growlers according to standards.
• Fill growlers upon guest request with proper labeling.
• Maintain inventory of growlers, glassware and supplies.
• Announce specials and sale information on PA system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
