Qualifications

• Working understanding of beer and wine.
• Familiar with ALE laws governing sell and purchasing of beer and wine products.
• Sales minded with effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Self-motivated, trustworthy and able to adhere to all guidelines.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Ability to communicate with Store Manager, DSD Receiver and vendors.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 30lbs consistently and 50lbs occasionally.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Educate guests on beer and wine attributes and guide for needs and preferences.
• Ensure marketing materials and tools are properly displayed and maintained.
• Maintain sanitation and appearance of the Beer Den/Sunmill Wines.
• Collaborate with category managers and suppliers for pricing and product selection.
• Train other Beer Den/Wine clerks and keep information accurate for hosts.
• Conduct tastings and in-store demos or promotions as needed.
• Follow state laws governing sampling, sale and purchasing of beer and wine.
• Wash and prepare growlers per established practices and fill growlers on request.
• Maintain inventory of growlers, glass, lids and other supplies.
• Announce specials and sale information on PA system.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
