Job summary

UnitedUnited in Georgia and Alabama is seeking a Beer Picker to meet hourly goals by scanning orders with handheld devices and building pallets for shipment. You will move loads, verify accuracy, and stage pallets for QC in a non-temperature controlled warehouse.

The role requires physical stamina, experience with pallet jacks and power equipment, and diligence in inventory control and safety. We offer a fast-paced team environment and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Six months of warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months of experience operating an electric pallet jack required.
• Experience operating a cherry picker, forklift or other power equipment preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to read, write and perform basic math.
• Able to learn company technology and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hourly performance goals.
• Receive daily ipods with orders and scan items.
• Verify quantity, size and product type using handheld tech.
• Transport orders to quality control area for verification.
• Ensure loads are stacked, secured and stable.
• Stage pallets and verify those failing QC.
• Replenish stock within location using technology and equipment.
• Submit daily power equipment checklist to manager.
• Report safety or equipment issues in writing.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain a clean facility.
• Assist in warehouse security and other duties as assigned.
