Coastal Beverage Company, Inc., Eastern North Carolina's leading beverage distributor, is seeking a RETAIL MERCHANDISER. The role involves stocking and merchandising beverages at customer accounts, maintaining displays, and upholding Coastal's standards.

A professional appearance and reliable time management are essential. This field-based position requires daily travel to accounts during standard hours; mileage reimbursement is provided for business use of your personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic math skills including numbers, fractions, and percentages.
• Ability to solve practical problems with concrete variables.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record compliant with company standards.
• Computer skills including e-mail and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Assist the sales and delivery departments by servicing and merchandising retail accounts to Coastal Beverage Company's standards.
• Stock and merchandise beverages, ensuring that all display areas are filled and POS is neat and current.
• Maintain regular presence in customer accounts during designated hours to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Drive and travel to customer accounts as part of a field-based merchandising role.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a RETAIL MERCHANDISER, you will be responsible for safely stocking and maintaining our beverage products in our customer accounts. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the sales and delivery departments by servicing and merchandising retail accounts in the best professional manner possible. Responsible for stocking and merchandising various products ensuring that all beverage sections, racks, and displays are completely filled, POS neat, clean and current and displays maintained according to Coastal Beverage Company's standards.

This is a field-based role requiring consistent presence in customer accounts throughout the day during designated standard business hours to ensure customer satisfaction.

Possess the ability to maintain regular and punctual in-person attendance to support merchandising operations and service customer accounts.

All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

2. Possess education equivalent to a high school diploma.
3. Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
4. Possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
5. Possess basic mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Possess the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
6. Possess ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
7. Possess computer skills requiring knowledge e-mail software, and Internet.
8. Possess ability to drive, valid driver’s license, and a driving record compliant with company standards.
