Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking team members to facilitate orders, receive, store, and stock items at our West Chester location. Responsibilities include checking dates, preventing out-of-code products, and executing department tasks while ensuring compliance with alcohol purchase regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must be of minimum age as required by state Liquor code

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare required equipment and supplies.
• Complete orders, receive, store, and stock items, check dates, track items going out of code, and perform department tasks as needed.
• Set up and stock end caps and displays, set up new program displays, and perform resets.
• Cut or hit cardboard cartons to flatten them, load them onto the bailer, and transport as needed.
• Handle customer transactions and purchases at the register, validate age when purchasing alcoholic products, and follow state limits on alcohol purchases.
