Overview

It's an exciting time to join Lowes Foods! We are a family-owned and growing company offering competitive pay (weekly or Daily Pay options), flexible schedules, and excellent benefits including a 401K, Pension Plan, tuition assistance, and more.

Our goal is to provide excellent guest service through meat and seafood department activities, utilizing selling skills and merchandising programs to enhance guest interaction and maximize sales.

Pay starts at $16/hour, with an additional $1.00/hour premium for hours worked from 5/11/25 to 9/6/25.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests, creating a selling environment.
• Prepare knife-ready products (cut, slice, trim, wrap, weigh, and price) according to standards.
• Assist with product receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Price, stock, and rotate frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in all contact areas.
• Ensure product quality and freshness, with all items within date.
• Communicate shrink issues and guest requests to management.
• Make PA announcements for sales and promotions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and selling skills, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others and interact with guests.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in cold environments.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
