Job Title: Production Lead

JBS is seeking an hourly Production Lead 2nd shift Team Member with a starting pay of $24 per hour plus a $1 shift differential. Benefits include:

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of hourly team members to achieve business results.
• Achieve targets safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate activities with production, procurement, maintenance, warehouse, and quality departments.
• Support team members by maintaining a visible presence on the production floor.
• Maintain an engaged and team-oriented workforce.
• Support company policies and procedures.
• Create an environment of concern and consistency toward all team members.
• Promote cooperation and dedication to quality workmanship.
• Provide training on policies, rules, regulations, and job duties.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to GMPs and specifications.
• Maintain sanitation, housekeeping, and product quality standards.
• Follow daily work schedules and report variances.
• Encourage efficient use of energy and resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP programs; certifications are a plus.
• Ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce, including coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• English language skills; bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Good math skills.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work on feet for long hours, bending, and stooping.
• Ability to hear normal conversations.
• Frequent use of wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Visual acuity to inspect documents and products.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Work in a cold, damp environment at approximately 34°F for extended periods.
