Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved phlebotomy course.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures including bleeding time test and blood cultures.
• Obtain blood samples from neonate to geriatric patients.
• Perform bedside glucose testing and waived/moderate POCT at bedside in ED.
• Assist with clerical duties: patient registration, specimen processing, QA documentation.
