Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Certified Licensed Practical Nurse for long-term healthcare with variable shifts in Pontotoc.

The role provides bedside patient care in acute or elderly care settings, collaborating with the clinical team and coordinating admissions and discharges. The LPN will perform treatments, IV therapy as directed, and educate patients and families, while maintaining compliance with NMHS policies and continuing education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED. Required.
• Nursing experience. Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, quality patient care and document accordingly.
• Act as Charge Nurse in RN's absence within scope of practice.
• Ensure compliance with NMHS policies and requirements.
• Admit patients to unit at bedside in collaboration with the clinical team.
• Process discharges at bedside for assigned patients.
• Perform treatments, tests, and IV therapy as directed within license scope.
• Educate patients and families about medications and treatments.
• Maintain records of patient care events and communications with physicians.
