Title: Front Desk Attendant

Program Overview:

Bedford Green House Phase II is a new state-of-the-art supportive/affordable housing complex providing homes and services to more than 300 New Yorkers. Phase I is a building designed for LEED Gold Standards. Bedford Green House offers onsite social services including primary care for adults and families, women’s health services, family reunification services, occupational therapy, and more. Funded in part by the NYC Dept. of Health and Hygiene and Human Resources Administration, Bedford Green House supports and encourages a healthy lifestyle with abundant resources for the community. Features include a sustainable landscaped green roof, rooftop greenhouse, aquaponics growing system, horticultural therapy classes with year-round gardening, healthy cooking workshops, a community playground, and a backyard with recreational and exercise equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential duties of the Front Desk include but are not limited to:

  1. Maintaining the logbook at the front desk.
  2. Ensuring clients and guests sign in and out when entering and leaving the building.
  3. Monitoring that clients comply with building rules.
  4. Completing paperwork promptly, including incident reports and shift summaries.
  5. Communicating effectively with staff and participating in meetings.
  6. Working any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
