Furniture Fair in Indianapolis is seeking a Bedding Sales Associate to drive bedding sales and build lasting customer relationships. You will develop product knowledge, use Bed Match System tools, and collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service on the sales floor.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and develop new business by selling bedding and accessories to new customers.
• Grow and maintain relationships with customers to uncover new opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Mattress and Bedding department.
• Collaborate with team members to meet store goals.
• Follow established procedures regarding CFS and delivery schedules.
• Assist new customers with identifying the right Bedding set using the Bed Match System.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• As a Bedding Sales Representative you will achieve your sales targets and develop new business through effective selling of bedding and accessories to new customers.
• As a Sales Representative you willgrow and maintain relationships with customers to uncover new opportunities.
• As a Sales Representative you willdevelop and maintain a strong understanding of the Mattress and Bedding department.
• As a Sales Representative you will collaborate with team members.
• As a Sales Representative you willfollow established procedures and protocols regarding CFS and delivery schedules.
• As a Sales Representative you willassist new customers with identifying the right Bedding set, utilizing the Bed Match System provided to us by Kingsdown.

Physical requirement of this position

• Must be capable of being on your feet (standing or walking the sales floor) for extended periods of time (up to two hours at a stretch)
• Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-50 pounds
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock; ensures re-wraps are done promptly
