Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Bed Control/Transfer Center Registered Nurse (BCTC RN) to coordinate bed assignments at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Responsibilities include evaluating, coordinating, processing, and documenting patient transfers. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and customer service skills, along with a Bachelor's in Nursing, RN license, and experience in an acute care setting.

The position offers the opportunity to collaborate with various departments to ensure optimum service for patients and physicians.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Experience in critical care or emergency/trauma preferred.
• Registered Nurse licensed in Georgia State and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) through American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign all beds at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
• Evaluate, coordinate, process, screen, and document patient transfers into PAH.
• Collaborate with various departments to facilitate patient flow.
