West Coast Tanning, Inc. in Simi Valley is seeking an entry-level sales and customer service team member to join our salon. You will assist customers, demonstrate tanning equipment, and help with product knowledge in a fast-paced retail environment.

Starting pay is $20.58 per hour, with opportunities for commissions and bonuses, ongoing training, and team-based contests. We offer a supportive, energetic workplace and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meeting sales goals measured daily/weekly/monthly.
• Consults with customers in a professional, upbeat manner.
• Educate customers on safe tanning practices and retail items.
• Maintain a clean and organized salon.
• Opening/closing business.
• Daily administrative paperwork, and goal tracking.
• Walk customers to their rooms and teach them how to use the tanning equipment when they have questions or are first time users.
• Attending Off Sight Sales And Job Trainings.
