Job summary

Gloss Studio in Manhattan is seeking a skilled VFX artist for beauty/cleanup work on feature films and episodic TV, using DaVinci Resolve. We will train you in our workflow. Opportunities to expand into color work are available for seasoned colorists.

You will work on skin retouching, cleanup, paint fixes, and 2D tracking on long-form footage, ensuring consistency across shots and scenes under tight schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-end VFX, beauty, or color.
• Solid tracking, paint, and roto fundamentals.
• Sharp eye for skin, detail, and continuity.
• Knowledge of long-form pipelines: formats, color management, and delivery specs.
• Clear communication and comfort with feedback.

Responsibilities

$300.00 - $500.00 per day based on experience

The Role

We're hiring artists to do beauty and cleanup work on feature films and episodic TV, in DaVinci Resolve. You don't need to have done beauty work in Resolve before, since we'll train you in our workflow.

We're looking for either of these:

• A beauty/cleanup VFX artist with experience in Flame, Nuke, or similar, who wants to move that work into Resolve.
• A strong Resolve artist skilled in color and Fusion/compositing, who wants to specialize in beauty.

Seasoned colorists are a major plus. If you can grade at a high level, the role will include color work alongside beauty.
