Job summary

TESO Group, based in New York, seeks an Assistant Beauty Team Leader for the Main St location. The role supports the Beauty Team Leader in merchandising, replenishment, price labeling, promotions, and customer service while coaching team members on floor execution.

Responsibilities include managing stock, monitoring expiration dates, ensuring tester cleanliness, and maintaining orderly shelves. Mandarin language skills are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma / vocational secondary school or above.
• Experience: Retail/beauty/lifestyle/service industries preferred; candidates without experience may be trained.
• Knowledge & Skills: Familiar with product merchandising, replenishment and recovery, price labels, expiration management, customer service, cleanliness, receiving organization, and basic work records.
• Core Competencies: Strong execution and sense of responsibility, good service and attention to detail, and effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Beauty Area Merchandising & Shelf Management: shelve products, front-facing, fill gaps, seasonal displays, maintain full shelves.
• Inventory & expiration: check expiration dates, monitor near-expiration and unusable products; ensure tester cleanliness and proper disposal.
• Pricing & promotions: ensure price labels are accurate, display promotions, update POP materials.
• Promotion execution: implement new-product displays and priority promotions; monitor sales and adjust merchandising accordingly.
• Customer service & product recommendations: greet customers, know priority products and best sellers, provide recommendations; escalate complaints as needed.
• Team coaching & on-site execution oversight: coach new employees, assign tasks, supervise replenishment and cleanliness; address team issues.
