Qualifications

• 1+ year beauty industry experience.
• Flexible schedule as department needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization and follow-through.
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 25 pounds and frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling with effective use of selling tools.
• Seek industry trends and product knowledge to maintain expertise.
• Initiate service consultations by asking open-ended questions to learn customer preferences.
• Build lasting relationships by following up on purchases and inviting to events.
• Grow sales via appointment-based selling and Nordstrom Rewards sign-ups.
• Create events in-store and network in the community.
• Maintain vendor relationships within Beauty brands to identify key focuses and products.
• Hours vary by week based on business needs.
